    I would imagine it would depend on what kind of rifle your putting the scope on.
    Ultimately, start with one and see if it works. If not, get the other.
    I have medium Warne rings on my M1A with a Buckmaster scope. Seems to work for me.

      Neither. They just raise the scope up or down. NOT forward or back. Unless either end of the scope is hitting something.
      A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

        Well I have factory rings on my 06 and it feels like I'm ducking down to look through the scope

          They could be too low OR you could not be getting your cheek on the stock correctly for a good cheek weld. A photo of you shooting the rifle would be a big help.
