FYI, the one in that link isn't a variable power. Just fixed 1x. Maybe you were just trying to "zoom" it and broke something? Ha ha.
It's a bummer that it won't focus. Seriously though that seems too cheap to bother with, but you can see if they'll exchange it or something.
Otherwise, for a similar type of Weaver scope you can do a lot better by getting a Weaver Classic Series V scope. I have this 1-3x and it's pretty nice for the price. Super light too. Made in Japan.

Oops - wrong link. It’s a 1x4.
I put a Redfield Battlezone 3x9 and one piece mount on there. It was a $300-400 scope when new and should hold up better than the $60-70 I spent on the weaver.
Hopefully weaver will exchange it for a new one.Comment

Just got off the phone with Vista Outdoors/Weaver. I’m sending in the scope that I paid $100 for and they are sending me a $220 scope.
