I've been following the back-n-forth on this thread on AR15.com and thought this post stood out. I asked around from some buddies and they said the author is one of the managers at the USMC Weapons Training Battalion so they do have some experience with testing and observations with their low powered variables. Wow, there,are people out there who still think competitive shooting doesn't benefit practical shooting in combat?

Reminds me of all the bullshido martial arts nonsense I see from dubious "martial arts" when confronted with the superiority of grappling arts like Judo, Jujitsu and wrestling.

Refreshing I think to see a thread in the non-armchair-space-shuttle-tail-gunner category. It should be a sticky in the Optics section.

You can say what you will about arfcom, but it's still, imo, the preeminent source for info and reviews on AR's and optics.

I pm'd a mod to make this thread a sticky.

That's a very good post, the truth is that quality LPVO's are getting very good now and versatile for 3 Gun, plinking, .MIL and LEO's.
