I haven't seen a Sightron spotting scope personally but I do own a couple of their rifle scopes. One is 8-32X and the other is 10-50X and I'm very happy with both. Especially the 8-32x MOA-2 that works great on my RPR 6.5 Creedmoor. So if their spotting scopes are as good as their rifle scopes I wouldn't think that you could go wrong with one. They also have a great Life time warranty.

I've several Sightron scopes too, been pretty happy with them. Hard to tell from the reviews if the Spotter better than average or not.

Took a chance and bought the 20-60X 85mm with the angled eyepiece. Will be better than what I've got now. Hopefully a lot better.

What you have to find out (and I don't know) is if they actually make the spotting scopes themselves. Many mid and high end optics manufacturers tend to outsource their spotting scopes for some reason, and the performance isn't always consistent with the expectations you would have based on experience with their rifle scopes.

I'm not sure why they do this, maybe somebody else on here knows, but I would research spotting scopes extensively before making a purchase in order to ensure you are getting your money's worth and not paying for just a brand name.

Birdwatching websites have some of the most discriminating buyers and reviewers of mid to high-end spotting scopes. They sit for hours behind the lens watching birds in all conditions and light. I'd take their views of Sightron spotters as the honest truth.
