    Coyote Scope help?

Well, I've researched and looked around a lot and there are so many choices out there! It's literally driving me crazy trying to find a scope for my Tikka in .243.

I've narrowed it down to three choices, kind of low, medium and high in price.

    Low: Nikon Pro-Staff, C&R price: $141

Medium: Burris FullField, C&R price $189

    High: Leupold VX-II, C&R price $267

Any thoughts on these? I'm likely going to be spray painting the whole rifle and scope, not sure if I can bring myself to paint a 300 dollar leupold smiley-innocent-halo-yellow.gif

    Please help!

    scope

Choice depends on intended use. For paper punching at known distance (100 yards for example) any of your choices is good. Tikka is a great riffle, and .243 is a great round that you can "reach out" with. If you intend on engaging targets at multiple distances, I would suggest buying a scope with BDC, or milldot reticle.

Spend the extra money and go with a Nikon Monarch. Aslo the Bushnell 3200 and 4200 scopes have great glass for the money.

Yeap. Buckmaster is a good one too, I have a 4.5-14 that works very well. I think it was ~250 online.

I have the 4-12 Fullfield II on my AR with the varminter reticle and couldn't be any happier with it. It will run you close to what the VX-II costs but the 243 will also be able to use that 12X.
