    Saiga scope mount...

There was a thread on this but it never seemed to get answered clearly. I have a couple of Saigas that I want to put a cheap scope on for plinking. Does anybody know a specific model that has worked for them and where is it available now? I've used cheap scopes before and that's exactly what I want this time so does anybody have specific experience with low magnification scopes on a Saiga? Thanks, Bob.

I don't know what you mean by cheap, but you can try some russian scopes starting around $150 on Kalinka Optics website.

I'm not wanting something original or correct, just for plinking with my failing eye sight. $50 to $75 plus mount that goes on the Saiga side rail. Maybe my actual question should be what scope mount works. I bought one from another calguns member that is apparently for a different mounting rail. Once again I'm not concerned with it being correct as far as country of origin or appearance.

Mount - Saiga Quick Detach UTG Rail Mount
        Scope - 3-9x Bushnell Dusk & Dawn

That's what I have on my Saiga and I've had no problems. I think mount was around $35 and scope was around $80.

I do...I have 1 for Rifles and 1 for Shotguns. Adds a rail to the receiver. So far the people that have purchased them love them.
