From the looks of it, reminds me of my VX-1.
Nice light-weight hunting scopes; mine's lasted quite awhile living on top of my 30-06.Originally posted by longrange1my gun shoots better with shiny brass...plus not only does the shiny brass make me look like a pimp at the range if the sun catches it just right it blinds the guy next to me which improves my odds of winning the match.Originally posted by XDJYoFull size. If you look at question 18 on the Cabelas website they basically say it's a Cabelas branded VX-1. Check-out Amazon for a better deal on a VX-1 3-9x40 at $174.79, but the VX-2 3-9x40 goes for $230.17. Per www.leupold.com these two models have been discontinued, so I assume Luepold will keep the Marksman on their website until Cabelas sells-out their stock and then it becomes an unkown orphan.

I'm actually looking at getting a VX-2 4-12x40 off Amazon as the dails on the VX-Freedom look kind of junkie.Last edited by Newport; 02-16-2018, 6:40 PM.NRA Life Member
