If you want a Surefire 6P or a G2 you might want to get a Malkoff MD2 Flashlight hosts. His M60 made 272 out the front lumens as tested by GMan at Candlepower forum with no bezel and 2 3.7v batteries. So, you can expect this with his flashlight hosts. Of course the MC-E will give you over 500 lumens for long runtimes too. There are now 18340 rechargeable batteries that this new Host will accomodate. 18340 are the same lengh as the cr123, but as fat as the 18650. It should net you 25% plus more runtime.
1. The forward Clickie and the body are one piece.
2. It will accept 18650 thicker battery for double the runtimes.
3. If you use a Malkoff Drop-In there is no need for a lens. You will get up to 20% more LUmens out the front with no lens. Yes, it matters.
4. It is made in the U.S.A. by the best LED P60 provider in the world. IMHO: better than Surefire quality.
He will be having 100 available on Friday, but by the time we wake up here in the Pacific standard time they will be sold out for sure. Malkoff Products are that good. Just browse his site and you will see everything is sold out. I call him and put in a request for my drop-ins; then wait for him to catch up and finally send me one.
His drop-ins are more expensive, usually sold out, and yet the quality is just amazing. Detail oriented and a pleasure doing business with.
