I've been wanting one these for decades and am going move on picking one up. My question is how the new B series stuff compares to their older stuff like the ER and LR. I kinda wished I got a DFP a while ago but whatever.

Im looking at an LR17 vs B17 or the ER25 vs B25 in terms of quality. I heard things changed over there so wondering if the glass is still hand ground and awesome and if the build quality is still awesome. Thanks!

First time I heard of US Optics was at a Soldier of Fortune gun show. I really miss those, they were the best shows ever. I met G Gordon Liddy at one and Carlos Hathcock at another. Anyway, every few minutes there was this loud banging for a minute. It was a guy at the US Optics booth hammering nails into a 2x4 with a scope.

the b series is better. I am a uso snob and love them. theyre heavy but as shown above, they can take a beating.

Rock solid high quality glass.. with the introduction of the B series.. prices have really dropped on their older models..

Yea its great stuff. I'm wondering if I should chase the discount on the older models or fork out for a B series.

I think it may just be one of those "can't go wrong either way" situations. Its just a difference of old is great and new is greater haaha....mmmm
