Which Vortex For My Ruger Predator?

I think the Diamondback HP doesn't get enough appreciation. I have the 2-8x version. I think it's very nicely made. Where else are you going to get ED glass for that kind of price? The 1" tube means the 3-12x probably not the best choice for 1000-yd doped shots, but it does make the scope lighter than a 30mm, in case the rifle is going to be lugged around.
