    Recommendation for SPR Optic

I am seeking a recommendation for an optic to put on my SPR build. Range will be 100 to 700 yards.

I would like it to meet the following criteria:

    - Maximum magnification between 10 and 16
    - Cost less than $400
    - Finger adjustable turrets
    - 1/4 MOA adjustments for windage and elevation

    Any suggestions are welcome.

The Cabela's Covenant FFP Tactical 4-16X44 seems like it would fit the bill. I ran one on my MK12 until I could get a more clone correct Leupold 3.5-10X40 Vari-X II for it. I honestly like the glass and reticle on the Cabela's scope more than the Leupold. Glass quality between the two is actually about the same, keep in mind the Leupold is a $1000+ scope. That's not to say the Leupold has sub-par glass, but rather that the glass in the Cabela's scope is really, really good for coming in at well under $300.

I put around 400 rounds through that rifle while it had the Cabela's scope on it, and never really found anything about it worth complaining about. From zeroing at 100 yards to banging steel out to 750 yards, the scope never had any surprises in store as far as tracking, maintaining zero or optical performance. It worked exactly as it should, and as well as many much more expensive scopes I've used over the years. If you wait until a big sale like Black Friday, chances are pretty good you can get it for under $200. I got mine last year for $185 shipped.

I have decided on a Leupold Mark AR 4-12x40 in a LaRue LT-158 mount. Thank you for the input everyone.
