Aimpoint micro LRP conversion mount kit - Does it hold zero?

I purchased a H1 to mount onto the top of the PR-01 hand guard that came with my Arsenal Sam7r-66 AK47.

I'm trying to research the lowest possible Aimpoint micro mount I can use so I can try to get a lower 1/3 cowitness. The factory low mount that the H1 came with seems to be one of the lowest heights, but I wanted to add the LRP conversation mount kit to turn the factory low mount into a QD mount.

Does anyone have experience with the Aimpoint micro LRP conversion mount kit? Does it hold zero? Any help from people that own this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Lowest aimpoint mount for an AK is the Attero Bravo: https://www.atteroarms.com/?shopp_product=bravo-mount

Thanks Arewefree but I need a mount that'll attach to a 1913 picatinny rail system. The hand guard that came with my AK has a built in quad rail.

If youre going to spend that much on a conversion then just get the ARMS mount.

That might be a good idea. I'm just wondering how the sight picture looks when mounting on the top rail of the Arsenal PR-01 handguard. I guess I'll create a different thread for that to see what people's experiences are. That's for your input.

if the rail isn't as low as ultimak then it will never cowitness.. Doesn't matter what mount you use. By the looks of your mount, i dont think it'll ever cowitness... even with the lowest mount.

Do you think it'll give me at least a 1/3 cowitness?

Negative, the Ultimak barely gives me 1/4 cowitness with the lowest micro mount. If your rail is lower or just as low as a ultimak, then you might be able to cowitness.

Look how low the ultimak is... The rail is below the line of the rear sight... While yours is ABOVE the line of the rear sight.

It is not possible for you to cowitness using that rail.

Damn. So much for wanting to use this handguard to mount a red dot.
I might need to go with the RS regulate mount then. In your experience, do you think I will be able to absolute or 1/3 cowitness with the RS regulate side mount and one of the low Aimpoint micro mounts you mentioned (ARMS, Bobro, Aimpoint LRP)?
Also, does the RS regulate mount hold zero pretty well? Seeing that you need to take it off every time you want to clean the gun, I would hope it holds zero very well.

RS Regulate holds zero very well, I take mine on/off all the time.

If I were you, give up on the co-witness and just mount the red dot on your rail.
