Aimpoint T2 + Eotech G33 Magnifier

I got a Aimpoint T2 coming in and was planning to grab a Eotech G33 magnifier. I remember reading somewhere that the Eotech maganifiers don't line up perfectly, in terms of height, with the Aimpoint T2 sitting on a 1/3 riser. Because of that, it causes the POI to change when using the magnifier.


Anyone who uses this setup can chime in?

The magnifiers have internal adjustment. I don't know if it has enough to overcome your issue, but I remember it being a decent amount.

Where in OC are you? I have a G33 magnifier. If you wanna meet up or something you can mount it on your gun once you get the aimpoint and see if it looks good for you..

in fact let me go mount them both together on mine. i have a T2 i'll slap it on my rifle with the magnifier and see what it looks like....

Mine is 1/3 co-witness with ADM mount. It still sits a tiny bit lower then the magnifier when your looking at it from the side, but looking through it is crystal clear and you cant see the tube or any obstructions. If it was absolute co-witness i think you would have issues being too low for the magnifier.

As far as shooting it, I have no idea if any POI issues. I only use my magnifier with the matching eotech.

IIRC the G33 is meant to be used with the EXPS series, which are lower 1/3 cowitness. I cant imagine you having too much trouble making it work with a 1/3 cowitness mount. I also had a friend borrow my G33 to use with his aimpoint and it was fine with some adjustments.

Not sure about other mounts but the T2/T1 on a Scalerworks 1/3 lower cowitness mount with a G33 on no riser will align perfectly.
