I bought an AimPoint 3x magnifier with a LaRue mount. Both items are used but seemed to be in good condition. I'm not really sure what is normal for a LaRue mount that swings off to the side. The magnifier lines up perfectly with my AimPoint comp M2 red dot. Since I don't know what a new LaRue Mount would behave like, I just wanted to ask someone if they're supposed to be any minor back-and-forth movement when the magnifier is behind myComp M2 or if it should be tight. It isn't a lot but I noticed it anyway. Is it normal for a LaRue Mount to have a little bit of play when it is in front of the comp 2 or is it supposed to have complete tension? There is no play where the mount attaches to the rail on my AR 10 varient. It has good tension when swung out so no problem there
