Vortex Gen II 5-25 MRAD delay?

Any news on this scope? I had one on backorder. It said 1-2 weeks when I ordered it at Cabelas, 3 weeks ago. Cabelas has since taken down the 1-2 weeks shipping notice.

Cabelas has no updates, and I emailed Vortex, no news either. I might start calling Vortex, but, there is really not much options. I got the scope for 30% off using various coupons, gift cards and discounts. Not inclined to cancel it, just wondering if anyone has any news.

I bought the 5-25 Gen 2 MRAD from Cabelas earlier this month (07/07/17) and it was in stock at that time.

I would keep the order with Cabelas and keep checking the status. Also, keep looking elsewhere. If you find it elsewhere instock, cancel the Cabelas order. That is, if you can't wait. 30% is a great deal!

I'm relaxed. I just heard from a little bird that there was a production problem, can't find any real info on it online.

I ordered the moa version in February or March, if I recall, and received it in late June, so if it's backordered wherever you placed your order I would plan on being patient.

Got a response from Vortex. Production is on-going, but they are backlogged up the kazoo. They can't even tell when Cabelas will get theirs.

I guess I gotta plan on using my current scope for a while. I had stopped shooting my rifle in anticipation.

Depending on you use of said optic, now would be a good time to pick up a spotting scope with a reticle in MR values to match. When the spotter and rifleman have the same dope and values, it really helps.
I have a Vortex Razor Gen2 in MRAD, and really like it. You found a good deal.

Mine is still vaporware. I ordered mine in March from optics planet. Have got the run around ever since. First it would be in, in May, then mid July, then August, and now 2 more when I called today. I called vortex directly and they assured me that orders are going out. I suspect there must have been a production hick up. Or they released something for sale they didn't have yet. I almost canceled the order because I didn't realize I could get the LEO discount. But they said it was a 6 month wait for that, should have done it.

As of 9/15, vortex said they were 6-8 months out. Tempted to just pay full price for one. Not sure the wait is worth it for 40% off. Alternatively I could buy a cheap scope to get me by in the mean time.
