Need help with red dot placement on vector.

I have a burris fast fire 3. I need some advice on how to install it on my vector. currently it looks like it sits too low. I can't see the red dot. Do I need a riser, or is my placement bad? I have it right behind the front BUIS.

If you cant see the red dot, its either off, batteries are dead, or it is too low to get the proper angle into the tube to see the dot. Pics of the setup?

Is this on an Airsoft toy?

          For a real firearm:
I have owned vectors for years and a simple aimpoint M4 will suffice with factory mount or Bobro mount. An eotech works as well. I placed mine in the center and we haven't had any issues and it was dead on accurate.

A Burris fastfire is a very small/miniature piece that sits on the Trijicon Acog or Sig Bravo 4. It's just right for those optics. Too low by itself.

yeah, without a riser, its sits too low for the vector, or any other AR for that matter. but I think it'll be perfect height for my arsenal sam7r. originally I was going to put a burris 536 on the arsenal. but I found out after installing that I needed a cheek riser for the stock. looks like everything worked itself out.
