They certainly are. Fantastic scopes especially when you factor in the price.

I have 10 products from Vortex and four of them are 3moa Venoms. It's like the Franks RedHot Sauce commercials, "I put that s*** on everything."

I'm just a dude on the internet, though, so my opinion and a $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee.

How did you get a cheek weld with the optic mounted so low?

Cheekweld position is really subjective based on preference and ones head shape and size. I personally like to have a higher positions so it worked just fine for me. They do offer an AD quick detach riser if you prefer a lower cheekweld.

These type of red dots seems to be able to sit lower compared to others.

If you prefer a higher optic mount, then you mounted it wrong. You have that Venom mounted about as low as it can go.

High quality scopes have a parallax knob to help compensate for both linear and angular parallax at different distances.

So do numerous not so high quality scopes.

Vortex makes some good products but I definitely wouldn't categorize any Crossfire II as a product that has been knocked out of the park.

Miss-communication there, when I said I stated I prefer a higher mount it was in reference to my face and cheekweld not the position of the red dot in relation to the rifle
