Can anyone help out in informing me on which AK side rail mount will fit this. I'm sorry for the bad picture, I'm helping a friend nail down which mount to buy. Thanks.

i believe the UTG side mount works, but i'm still waiting for the AK to test it out on...Comment

Alex, you've been looking for an AK for awhile. You are under 18 I think but couldn't you buy a kit and sit on it until you turn 18 in a few months? You can probably by flats even as a minor I think.

That looks like a Romanian mount. It should take any AK side mount.
I would shop around and find one with a release lever and weaver base if you can unless you are going to buy a PSO-1 or somthing.

It was $30 plus $6 to ship. I can give you a review once I get it.
Some other once to look at are the UTG Leapers 3rd gen(lock down screws) 5th gen(lever and harder to find)
You can also get real Russian/Soviet type hardware.
This was a good deal IMO wish I had gotten it.
Beware the Tritium powered stuff battery is better.
For the money the one I picked up seemed to be the best but Im an OLL noob so time will tell. Happy hunting Im hope that helps give you some ideas.

I got the mount from Gunbroker. It has a clamp to snug it down to the rail. I would say its about 2mm off center of bore but its very hard to tell.
It mounts up tight once I adjusted the clamp a little. I will let ya know how it zeros and stuff once I get to the range with it.Comment
