Is it a dedicated thermal rifle? Have you considered a clip on? It would make the rifle more flexible. Such as the new Q14 coming out. If it is a dedicated thermal rig, look at the REAP-IR

On another note, ATN will never get a dime from me. Liars and deceivers

I'm just exploring the idea of having a thermal scope. Nothing is serious yet. If and when I decide to have a dedicate thermal rifle, it's probably a bolt action. However, like all scopes that I own or will own, they must survive the Scar test. A friend of mine, who has his mounted on an AR10 and loves it, highly recommends it.

I just found out you wrote a very detailed message regarding Night Vision scopes. Thanks for that post.

Gotcha. Yeah scars are known to eat scopes unfortunately. Im not knowledgeable enough on thermal to give my two cents. If you are on arfcom, i would scour this area:

Firearm Discussion and Resources from AR-15, AK-47, Handguns and more! Buy, Sell, and Trade your Firearms and Gear.

Its a subforum of nv and thermal. Tons of brainiacs and info in those threads.
