Nightforce PDA Software's Muzzle Velocity distance

I am using NF's PDA software. I would like to know if anyone else know what's the MV distance recommended by them? There is a place for me to input the MV, but there isn't a place for me to input how far from the muzzle that such MV is measured from.

Any idea?
