    Vortex vs Athlon

I have a still nib vortex viper 5-15x44 from midway waiting for a rifle. Now i just got a Ruger PR in 308. i am thinking of getting an Athlon 8-34-56 for the RPR and putting the vortex on my ar10. How do the optics look on the Athlon compared to Vortex? Or should i put the Vortex on the RPR
    thanks

Athlon is a great company especially lifetime transferable warranty that needs no paperwork to have. I have a Athlon Midas 1-6x ($500)and it rivals my Zeiss HD($1000)with the Zeiss a bit more color brightness integrity and Zeiss has about 15 min more use at dusk/dawn for half the price point and amazing clarity due to muticoats. Sniper's hide forum many great reviews on the Argos line which is their mid priced line one below the Midas line.

I give points to Vortex for the better warranty, but Athlon is undercutting Vortex' pricing.

I have a Athlon 4-14x that needed to go back in. They literally swapped me a new scope and mailed it back with 24 hours of receiving it.
