    Optic for Daniel defense .308

Looking for some advice on an optic for my Daniel defense .308.

Can't decide between a quality glass scope befitting this fine rifle or a solid red dot such as the trijicon moa.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Don't need snarky keyboard warrior comments, my wife gives me all I need.

    Thank you in advance.

Not enough information. What's your goal? Budget?

I don't know why you'd red dot a 308? I'm in the same boat trying to figure out what to put on my Sig 716dmr. If your of the red dot mind, maybe a trij icon?

I'm going for distance myself and leaning towards a razor.

      What's your purpose and budget?

Budget is relatively high. Want to buy something quality.
Goal is to shoot 300 yards max. Not many places in California to shoot beyond that distance anyway.

You may want to post your question here:

The optics guys visit that section more often.

Inside 300, get an Aimpoint T2, H2 or M4s, with an Aimpoint 6x magnifier. Or a 3.5x ACOG with red chevron reticle.

Buy once and be happy forever. My recommendation are Nightforce, US Optic and Vortex Razor HD.
