    Mounts for AR10T?

Hello, I am a noob and this is my first post. I have an AR10T and a Springfield 4-14x56 Mil-Dot Government Scope. These two items have been sitting in my safe for years. Prefer one piece mounts but open to suggestions. Thanx in advance.

Sell the scope! Then get a ADM or Larue mount and a better scope with the $$ left over.

Depends on two things: 1) your budget and 2) what type of shooting you plan to do. Don't be afraid of asking Scott at Liberty Optics (above); he'll give you good advice. Same with Mike at CSGunworks; I sent a friend of mine to him for a Nightforce, and he was very satisfied with the service.

If you really like the scope, by all means give it a whirl, BUT, that scope has a rather well earned rep of "looking cool" but having QC problems and leaving more than a few owners frustrated. Many failures in it's history. It usually does well on ebay, though.

Then, we can sit down and get you a scope that you can rely on and make you a better shooter....within budget.

Here's the Big List of AR15 one-piece mounts, including sections on rings and extended rails:

I am trying to list it for sale but have no idea how much this scope is worth at this time. It is brand new! Think I paid around $800 new but cant remember exactly.

I agree with Scott on sell the scope. I would look online to see that they are going for used, maybe ask $730 to $750 for it.
