I wouldn't worry about it. Some people just can't see past their own cognitive dissonance.
Even though neither MRAD nor MOA have anything to do with the metric/imperial systems, there will always be people who scream about yards or meters or inches or centimeters. When in reality, the unit of measure doesn't really matter in practice. In the real world, the reasonable person uses the ruler that's three inches in front of their face: The Reticle. And the reticle doesn't need a unit of measure IF IT MATCHES THE TURRETS. And most quality scopes today have matching reticle and turrets. If your shot lands low or left or high or right, just line up your reticle, count how many lines or dots your shot was off by, and spin your turrets to compensate. Or hold off. There's no math involved other than being able to count to 10.
You know this. I know this. A lot of other people just can't seem to understand it.
If your turret is in MRAD and your reticle is in MOA (or the other way around), well then I feel for you, son. 'Cuz you're making it real difficult on yourself.
It's funny, too. Because this exact same thread is going on at different forums and it's always the same nonsense about, "Well I think in inches and yaaaards!!!!!" And I get it. And I don't think anybody is trying to push one system over another. But it's comical and tragic people can't seem to grasp such a simple thing as both systems being equally simple to use and that there's no more math involved with one versus the other.
