    Troy Battle Sight Issue

I have Troy Battle sights as buis on several of my rifles. A while back I installed a rear sight on one rifle. When I sighted in, I had to move the Troy almost all the way to the right to get a zero. I thought maybe that particular rifle had a rail issue.

On another rifle, I installed an Aimpoint PRO as my primary sight and added a Troy as the buis. That Troy sight zeroed at center as was good to go. Yesterday, I pulled that rifle out and when I turned on the red dot and compared to the irons, the red dot was way left of center.

I shot the rifle to determine if the red dot or irons were out of zero. Turns out, the Troy was off. The sight was tight and didn't appear to have drifted. When I got it zeroed again, the Troy was way to the right again.

Has anyone experienced this? Is it the Troy sights or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any input.

This seems to be a recurring problem hopefully this link helps. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...highlight=troy
I have a set of Troy flip ups and when I went to the range to zero my rifle the rear sight did not need to be adjusted from dead center at all.
