I do. I use them when I quail hunt. I typically walk 5-6 miles looking for birds. I have a chest pack designed to hold large binoculars. Because of how good they work, I am willing to deal with the weight. It is worth it.

Canon has other stabilized models that are lighter.

Stabilized binoculars are like comparing a go cart to a Tesla Model S. There is no comparison.

P.S. Especially good for finding bedded down deer. You really have to study areas and look for parts of a deer. With regular binoculars you can kind of sort of see things. With stabilized binos you can study things. The 10x42L IS binos have Alpha level glass to. They are the best ones Canon makes.

I got the Razor HD 10x42. I just sent them back. Going with the 12x50. Bought a adapter to attach my phone. Great pictures. Personally I don't think they compare to my friends Swarovskis. But at 1/3 the price I am thrilled. Son shot this one. I took this through my binos at ~140 yards on a freezing misty windy morning. IMG_1845.jpg

          Both.
They are not bad for occasional pull up glassing, but for prolonged sessions I would just use my trigger sticks tripod version. Worked great and no extra gear to carry.

Check out the offerings from Pentax. Super high quality glass, well designed, and rugged. Plus, they are nearly the quality of the very high end binocs at no where near the price.

12 power is a mistake. Even 10 power are hard to hold steady.

Image stabilized is the only way to go for handheld above 8 power. But, OP doesn't listen. I'll bet he has not looked through an image stabilized pair.

He will return the 12 power or sell them within a year if he actually uses them. Guaranteed.

I am looking for the collective to provide some feedback. Hate to have regrets after buying. Any thoughts?
Sounds like you need a tripod for your spotting scope, and a set of 8 or 10x binos. Viper HD is a good budget pair. Personally I think you'll regret buying 12x Binos unless you're using a tripod. But why would you do that if you have a spotting scope?

8x, 10x, 12x, stabilized, Nikon, Vortex. Damn, glad there are so many choices.

My cheap Big5 bino's have a 10-30 magnification slide on the right eye piece. I typically run them at 10x but have run dial up to 30 to see how it compares. I have not had any issues under 15x with them bouncing around and weight is not an issue as I do not see myself walking for days on end carrying them. Really excited to get them.

Time will tell. Thanks for input and if I didn't listen to your advise, thanks for your input non the less.

If you have those 10-30 Big 5 binos then you are set. Ignore all these guys trying to talk you into more expensive glass. You got it dialed bro.

Have a pair of Redfield 8X binoculars that I paid about $100 for. For the price they are pretty decent.
