    Geissele Super Precision Mount or?

Hey folks, just picked up a Nightforce F1 4-16x42mm to mount on an AR. Was going to use a Bobro dual lever 34mm mount but it's kind of big and heavy and I feel it's better suited for an AR10 or Bolt action with a monster 50-56mm objective scope.

Looking for a lighter weight NON QD mount.

I saw that Geissele came out with one... I hear Seekins may have one soon? It also seems Nightforce has one.

Anyone have any experience with any of these? Any other suggestions?

(Not interested in the Spuhr, I run them on my bolt action rifles but am looking for something different for a gas gun.)

Looks pretty good quality to me. Although if I were going non-QD and lightweight, I'd probably just get a set of Seekins. Those are available now. The MXM scope mount.

Looked up the Seekins MXM. Thanks for that. Looks like it might be the direction I go in. Especially like the low profile bolts.

But I HAVE to wonder why the Geissele is double the price. Surely there must be a reason?

I'd guess that the Geissele is slightly more overbuilt. Also, way more machining on the Geissele mounts with all those slots and weight reduction cutouts. I have some experience with the Seekins and they're well made. Good bang for the buck.

EOTech has an awesome new option on the Vudu line, and so does LaRue, both are non-QD

Too bad Seekins has no 0 MOA 34mm MXM.
