Monstrom Tactical 3-9x32 AO Rifle Scope - Opinions?

Just saw a sponsored ad on Amazon while searching optics and has decent reviews on there but just wanted a second opinion from my trusty calgunners. Have you guys tried this out before? $80 is an amazing deal for all the features but is it trash?

Im looking for an optic to go on my first ar build so im pretty green to all this. Just got a Ddm4v11 pro so dropped a lot of lettuce and am pretty much broke for the rest of the year and so im trying to look for a good yet CHEAP starter optic.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Glass is trash no coatings, okay for air rifle. Millet scopes are budget but poor low light. Try for a used Nikon M223 1-4x or Primary Arms

Plus they're a board sponsor here.

I have yet to purchase anything from them. My experience with budget minded optics is with UTG 3-9 "bug buster" it's on a .22 ar upper and has been living there about 5 years. This upper is running a CMMG conversion bolt, so when I do take it out every 300-400 rounds I run a half dozen rounds of 5.56 to keep the gas tube clean.

The UTG has performed excellent out to 500 meters and takes bouncing around in the trunk very well. I would give Monstrous a chance if this thing gives up on me.

Don't have a Monstrum, but ditto on the Bug Buster. It started out on an AR, but moved to a 10-22 when that rifle's scope failed. Very nice scope for the money.

The Monstrom Tactical 3-9x32 AO Rifle Scope on Amazon looks very similar to the Bug Buster. I bet it's made in the same factory, to the same quality standards. Is so, there are a lot worst scopes out there in that price range.

Normally we make people pay for their own shipping on returns especially if there is nothing wrong with the item.

Consider it a Calguns member perk.
