    Red dot help!?

I'm in the market for a red dot for my ar pistol.
I have read good things from Holosun, Vortex Spark AR, and Sig Romeo 5. Any feedback helps, thanks!

You can get a ton of reviews by Googling....

Check Amazon, Optics Planet, Midway, Cabelas, etc. for many, many reviews on all those dots

I like my Aimpoint T2 on my AR pistol.

You need to state a price point and your usage.

Aimpoint T1/2 are the standard bearer with prices to match.

All the other ones you mentioned are ok, the Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot is the de facto affordable alternative, not because its better than those mentioned, but because its backed by a very good warranty.

What is your AR pistol setup?

I've found that the different buffer tube options offer different cheek welds

My Thordsens Custom for example is a little thicker/higher than my Phase 5 Pistol Tube, so I do not run standard AR height optics on the Thordsen setup

But all the options you listed are quality, so your initial research was good

Do you have a budget? Any reticle preference?

I have 5 years of carrying a rifle with an Aimpoint Pro. It's only needed to be re-zeroed once and the battery changed once. It's been dropped, bounced around, mostly used as an arm rest and has never let me down. A Aimpoint Micro would be most proportional for an AR Pistol. Why not look at a Mini RDS from Vortex like the Venom? I'm not sure if they support rifle caliber recoil but I can't imagine an AR pistol is any worse than a 10mm.

                  +1 for Aimpoint.

If there's a budget, then Primary Arms has a pretty good reputation for range toys. But if it absolutely, positively needs to work, then Aimpoint is the best bet - and if it's too expensive, save.

Aimpoint if you can afford it. If your budget is a little tighter, I have been very happy with my Holosun's.

In order of tightest budget to the biggest budget:

                      Bushnell TRS-25
                      Aimpoint ACO
                      Aimpoint PRO
                      Aimpoint T1/H1
                      Aimpoint T2/H2/M4s

Skip the Primary Arms red dot. Of the above I own a TRS-25, a PA micro dot (which feels like garbage, isn't bright and suckssssss), and a PRO. The TRS is a great value for the money and a tough little dot. I don't have a Vortex Sparc and while it's obviously no Aimpoint I do hear good things.

I also own an Eotech XPS3-0 but at this point Eotechs are sort of a niche market for people who specifically want them despite the recall/drift issue. Kind of an oddball red dot which despite its good features, in all honesty gets beaten by Aimpoints at the price point they're at.

Budget- Spark 2, no budget- Aimpoint T2/H2
If you find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing it all wrong.

As stated above, but I'll repeat cuz I own 3 aimpoints and if I buy another it will surely be an aimpoint.
My ar pistol has an aimpoint pro, it is great for the price. If you can spend more the t1/t2 are awesome as well.

Primary Arms advanced micro dot. Although for the $$ aimpoints or eotechs are top notch. I have 2 512 I really enjoy as well.
