I am getting a remington 700 aac and have ordered a leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x50mm (30mm) Side Focus CDS to go on her. Any adivce for one pice or two piece mounting and/or what type of rings to use? which product i should use? I think it needs to be higher than normal but not 100% sure what to order. Get in your standard shooting form regardless of optic and relax to the point you can fall asleep. Open your eyes. Thats where the scope needs to be adjusted to -
Leupold one piece mounts and a set of med rings should make a rock solid set-up.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
