What should I pay - Eotech combo

I have a coworker who has an Eotech EXPS2-0 and a G33 both on quick disconnects. EXPS is black and the G33 is tan, ugh. Practically brand new and is asking $800.00 for the set. Most combos I see are for the EXPS2-2. What do you think is a fair price.

It's a fair price but not a steal persay. That's $300 for the magnifier and $500 for the Eotech.

A lot of people dumped their perfectly fine Eotechs when Eotech had their recall. I doubt 1/10th of those were defective but it still gave them an excuse to move up to a more expensive optic. Maybe a new Eotech!

Hmmm, for me? It's not a "too good to pass up" price. For me? That'd be $700

That's what I was thinking. Not like I can't buy it next year. Maybe another rifle before the end of the year instead.

If I had $800 to spend on an optic there are a lot of other really good options worth considering... that's a lot of money to spend on a red dot setup.

I much rather get a nice low power variable for that type of coin.

Since Eotech is probably going to release a new and improved optics line without the "defects", I would offer no more than $700 for that "obsolete" setup.

Beating a dead horse in the forever battle of eotech vs aimpoint, but i do highly recommend an H2 or T2. His asking price will get you a micro with a good QD mount

$800 is a fair price. Anything less would be a great price.

While the red dot can be sold and replaced by many other options, the magnifier really is one of the nicest out there
