    New Trijicon MRO, damaged?

    Howdy all,

Recently got a Trijicon MRO from an online retailer which I received in poor condition, not gonna put them on blast (yet).

The objective lens is canted in the housing, also some minor dings and scuffs on exterior.

It was sold as "Bulk Packed" from Trijicon.
Retailer placed the Trijicon cardboard box in a USPS bubble envelope for shipment.

Evidence is pointing towards damaged in transit.

I have no experience with this optic, just want some more eyes on it.

    Opinions?

    The Packaging:

Did the seller advertised the item as new?

Never heard of legit "bulk packaged" Trijicon product. Sounds like retailer selling open box or returned items.

Botach has them in different combos but that packing looks like Cabelas how ships ammo.

We are a large distributor for Trijicon and we receive them in the cardboard boxs, we actually request them that way because they are easier to ship, we can sell them to customers for less, and most customers especially law enforcement agencies/buyers typically throw those plastic boxes away anyway

I dropped it on asphalt while mounted to a rifle... twice.

                      (Yes... on purpose)

                      The MRO survived.

funny, ArmsUnlimited must be sick and tired of these questions by now. I asked them the exact same thing this summer (1st red dot optic I ever bought).

Great deal...$500 for the Trijicon optic and LaRue QD co-witness mount.
