    Best Spotting Scope (best value)?

Hi I'm looking for a good sporting scope. Looking for a good value, best bang for our buck. Maximum of probably $500, but would strongly prefer $300 range...unless there is a huge consensus on a product that is more than $300 etc.

Not looking for the cheapest product or the best product, looking for the "best value" at less than $500. Will probably use it for anywhere between 50-300 yards

Not a whole lot of value in the $300 vicinity...

Bushnell 15-45x60 may be worth checking out

or for a little more there is the Bushnell 15-45x60 ED which is a bit more compact and has better glass/coatings. I have used that one as a field scope out in North Dakota.

In the $400-$500 range, I would check out the

      Vanguard Endeavor

      or the

      Bushnell Legend 20-60x80

Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 is another great choice but that is at the top of your budget

I have a Redfield Rampage and it's great. It gets a little blurry when the magnification is at 60x, but I've never had to turn it up past 40x within 300 yards.

See if Costco.com is selling Aplen spottimg scopes. They deliver very good value for the price paid. As I recall, mine was under $300.

I'm pretty happy with my Konuspot. I think it's the best value in it's price range.

Another vote here for Konuspot as best bang for the buck around $300 range

Same here. NRA matches (200 to 600yds) we see Kowa's and Konuspots as the two most popular choices. One is a grand, the other is around $200-300. I have the Kowa, but was impressed with the Konus for the value.
