    SCAR17 elcan options

i am thinking about picking up an elcan at last.

it will be for my scar 17 that i had shortened by randall so i am looking at either the 1-4 or 1.5-6 option. anyone here have the 1.5-6? i am leaning that way just because it seems the better option for the 762 but i have been going back and forth with just getting the standard 1-4.

owners of the 1-4, do you ever feel the need for more magnification? this scar is setup as more of a "battle rifle" than a bench shooter so the weight is of some importance.

    thanks for your assistance.

We sell both and prefer the 1-4 for the true 1 power on the low end and can run it like an Aimpoint. Let me know if you want one and we can hook you up.

not really worried about the diff between 1 and 1.5 because my eyes can adjust pretty easily to the diff magnification. what is your pricing on the 762 specter drs?

I'm also in the same boat with my scar, and can not choose between the same elcan as you and the U.S optics SR8C 1X 8-27. I have read up on both but can not make up my mind. I already have a long range rifle HK PSG1 clone so I'm not going for distance. Simply want to make the right choice the first time. Any advise is welcomed. Letc us know if you go elcan.
