Who has walmart Center point scopes

I was just browsing walmart sporting goods area and saw the scopes made by center point. Has anybody bought this and if you have please let me know if the 70.00 price tag is worth it. I know its not made in America so don't bash my thread. I am just broke.

It's just another inexpensive Chinese optic branded with an importers brand.

Like with all inexpensive Chinese optics, some people have good luck with them, others have failures in short periods.

It's tricky to get a decent magnified optic for under $100, even used.

I have a Centerpoint on a bolt action .22lr. That baby works great on the .22. Holds better than MY .22lr can shoot. That being said, I think they are decent on small calibers, i'm sure if it was on anything bigger than .22 it would start to deteriorate quickly.

I just picked up the $54 3-9x 32mm one yesterday and mounted it on a 10/22. It mounted up real nice. Only time will tell how it performs!

Centerpoint Scopes are designed mostly for airguns. Made by crosman. Somewhere.

Almost all airgun scopes are excellent choices for cheap optics. They handle recoil very well because of there design. They are also Inexpensive. But in alot of cases, you get what you pay for.

I have one of the 4-16x ones that comes with rings. I got it as a gift. I had it on a Rem 700 in .308 and it held up to a 100 or so rounds. It didn't break, I just took it off because I didn't like it. Its not the most clear scope and its not very crisp. You have to have your eye just right or its hard to see through.

I needed a scope the other day to check out a new upper so I threw it on it. We were getting consistent sub MOA at 100 yards out of a brand new sabre defense barrel mounted on a vltor upper reciever. The upper worked great but everyone that looked through the scope complained about the scope.

I've found that using the scope at 10x is ok, but its not as good at 16x

Yeah man, my Centerpoint can glow Green OR Red. That is worth every penny.

(And it works just fine on my 10/22)

I spent the day dialing in the Centerpoint on the 10/22. It went 3 clicks from the clockwise most setting to find center. Not sure if its the scope or the mount's fault that it was so far off center. The eye relief is pretty narrow, but when cranked to 9x I was able to produce very accurate results!

My father in law has 2 from Wally World. They both hold zero while shooting until you crank the magnificaion. When you try to go back to 4x, you're now off the mark by several inches at 30 or so yards. Now, he just zero's it for a certain range only and is pretty happy for the money spent. Hope this helps any.
