    Rmr on an acog

I'm considering putting an RMR on top of my 3x acog, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the set up and have any suggestions on which if any, to put on? Thanks

I have a TA31 ECOS. which is basically a TA31 with RM01 on top of it. A lot of people don't like breaking their cheek weld in order to look through the RMR but for me it's quite natural. For close-up shots I actually prefer having a heads up position with my face off the stock since I gain more peripheral vision. It all comes down to personal preference.

you could get a canted mount for your rmr but imo thats a waste of money.

3x is still pretty usable close up with some practice keeping both eyes open/the BAC.

If the price of the RMR is a lot of money to you, I'd say just practice with what you have until you feel comfortable using it at close distances. If not then buy it and give it a try. The RMR will depreciate very slowly in value so you won't really lose a lot of money if you decide to sell it.

I run the TA33 on three different platforms and have never felt it was unusable even at 7 yrds. I cant see needing the RMR
