    Eotech HWS

Has the zero wander issue been fixed on the Eotech sights?

I really like the open field of view that these sights provide.

Opposite of looking through a tube.

If one never intends to be in 160F or -30F environments, is there anything really wrong with them?

I consider all red dots to have some thermal drift.

I have 9 Eotechs ranging from the old Bushnell branded holosight to the Zombie. Never had to re-zero unless I was changing powder charges on my ammo.
Couple of rifles I use factory ammo and never re-zero'd in nearly a decade. Took one of them shooting a couple of weeks ago which I haven't shot in ~3 years, and was on target. Temps that the Eotechs have been subjected to have ranged from +115F to -10F over the years.

If I had to actually use my rifle in 160F to -30F conditions, my degraded shooting skills in those conditions will cause more of a drift than any sighting system mounted on the rifle. Comes from not being "operator enough".
