Which night sights for M&P Shield

Searched, but didn't find any results.
What night sights do you prefer on a M&P Shield?
Can you install them yourself or does it take an experienced gunsmith?
Any special tools or tips needed?
Thanks for anything you can offer.
    I appreciate your knowledge.

ammo bros has sales if you buy the sights from them they install for free, otherwise you need a sight alignment tool which is like 40 bucks on amazon, not really worth it unless you install a lot of sights

I have this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/128...m-and-p-shield and it was super easy to install the trijicon hd night sights. Took me 15 min. to do it.

Whichever sights you choose, I wish you the best of luck moving the rear sight out yourself. I tried several sight pushers and I couldn't get that thing to budge even a little. I think S&W uses a hydraulic press to push them in. I ended taking my Shield to a shop to get the sights installed.

I have Trijicon HD's on one M&P and another is the VTAC so it came with the Viking Tactics sights. I prefer the Trijicon HD's but both are nice sets of sights.

As for the actual install...I've pushed the sights out of the slides before using a brass punch and a ball peen hammer, and I've also paid someone to replace sights. I'll probably pay someone to replace them from now on. Just not worth the headache.

I like the AmeriGlo PRO I-Dot sights. One tritium lamp in the rear sight under the notch. Easy to line up. I put them on myself but I have the mother of all sight pushers.
If you buy anything because it has "tactical" or "operator" in the name, we probably don't run in the same circles.
