Stupid question..... If I bought an Acog for the x39 rd ar platform can I also use it for the 5.56 platform with the same performance?

    Thanks

I would imagine it will work fine, obviously the BDC numbers are going to be off because you'd be firing a different round but you could make your own dopecard and notes at the range after getting it zeroed.

Got it.... That's kinda what I was figuring.

I assume they make them "recoil" specific?

Nope, they just make them all equally tough as nails. The cartridge specifications are only in regards to the bullet drop numbers in the retical.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.
