Need Help to Translate this

The chevron reticle is designed to be zeroed using the tip at 100 meters. The width of the chevron at the base is 5.53 MOA which is 19 in. at 300 meters. This allows range estimation for silhouette target

I'm trying to understand this description from a Trijicon Acog, but get lost on the 2nd part of the sentence.

How do they convert this 5.53 MOA into 19 inches at 300 meters if 1 MOA is equivalent to 1 inch at 100 yards?

Hmm I get a little over 18".

300 meters = 328.1 yards

3.281 x 5.53 = 18.1
