    Holosun vs Primary arms

Looking at the new 503gu seems to be a nice little sight. How does holosun compare to primary arms as far as clarity/quality etc? Heard good things about both companies, dont have experience with either and they're in my price range,2-300 for small red dot.

Vortex sparc is another to look at, with lifetime warranty. Less battery life though. I have the original PA micro, been good so far.

I just got the Holosun 403g and have been VERY impressed. Well worth less than half the price of the H2

For entry level I don't think you can go wrong, but if I were to buy one I'd get a vortex cause of the warranty

The new 503 gu and other holosun products that have come out in 2016 have a lifetime warranty versus their other products being a limited. Either way they stand behind their stuff, I think theres enough info out there to show they are good on their warranties.

I wonder what the difference between this and the 503 are. If I remember correctly there is a holosun rep here on this site, maybe they can chime in.

I have not heard of a new warranty policy on 2016+ Holosun optics. Just Lifetime on the metal tube and 3 years on everything else. Have they published this online?

Called Holosun and they have the same warranty. 5 years on glass 3 years on electrical and lifetime on housing.

I read that Holosun and PA comparable red dots are made by same MFG but to slightly different specs to each company.

Looks like there are 2 different 503's, the HS-503C is a 65 MOA circle and 2 MOA dot and 20,000 hr battery and the HS-503G which has the Primary Arms ACSS ,65 MOA circle, Chevron/BDC reticle and 50,000 hr. battery.

The "wake up" feature on the Holosun is awesome. The slightest movement and the dot comes on, so you literally never have to turn it on and off. And, with 50,000 hours of battery life who cares if it stays on while you are driving or hiking with it.

For a red dot in a defensive situation this feature saves precious time.
