Saw an used Weaver (800470). Wonder if it is a quality scope for plinking with AR15 or mini14 (50~200 yd).

I have weaver 4X on my Mini14 and 30.
I have a weaver 3X9X40 on my M1A.
All have worked just fine.
These are fun guns and used in good weather.
If I were to hunt with them they would have Leupold's on them.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
