You're gonna need to rezero. There are so many variables that changed.

depends, there is a quick detach mount where a guy detaches and re attaches numerous times and it keeps 0, not sure if he does it to different rifles/uppers tho. Its with a holosun red dot

Does not hurt to try....I have good luck on the same gun. taking optics off and on.......2 different guns, you might get lucky, mine is usually less than a moa off on the same rifle a flat top.

You can likely still hit human size targets Inside 50 yards maybe even 100. But if you want to do anything with any type of accuracy you'll need to rezero.

^This. Even minor changes at the muzzle have significant changes down range.

I always need to zero after swapping optics, one exception: A cheapo 6x I moved to a .22LR was dead on after mounting, I was shocked how dead on it was.

I've also tuned up a guitar string by feel and once it was in tune. Once in a lifetime once.

The only thing a QD mount buys you, is the ability to remove the optic, and put it back on the same rifle without too much loss of zero. So you can have two sights for the same rifle, for instance.

The second you change rifles, you have to re-zero.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

I use my QD bobro and swap my ACOGs between similar rifles with no problem, when going to my scar 16 the elevation POI is off by 2 inches at 100
