Anyone have experience with UTG back up sights for AR A3/A4? I would like to know if they are cheesy and what type of material are they made of? The BUIS will be mounted for close range shooting - 25 to 100 yards, and I don't expect to use them for 600 yard shooting.

I have a set that were on a M1S A3 upper in 5.56, then migrated to my AR57. Worked just fine out to 300 on the M1S, and great out to 150 on the AR57 -
Which one?
I have used this one:
Cheaper Than Dirt! is America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, and we live up to that title. Expect bulk ammo deals, discounts, gun care accessories and more

It works, it is pretty durable, and it stays put. I've used it on a beat-around AR and I am happy with it after throwing the rifle to the ground, shooting nearly 5K rounds, and banging it against the bench a 100x.Comment

I was thinking more of their front flip up sight. With the price tag it carries I was thinking they maybe made of plastic, since they are popular with airsoft guns. The wise man said just find your place
