    Which scope

I have a Ruger .22 take down rifle. I would like some recommendations for a scope that will still fit in the bag. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I dont know the bag size, but I just put a Simmons 3x9x40 .22 mag scope on my ruger and that thing is crystal clear, very nice. And great price point in my opinion.

Check out the UTG 3-9x32 bug buster. http://www.amazon.com/UTG-3-9X32-Bug...rds=bug+buster Short, a bit heavy, good optics for the price, decent eye relief and eye box, AO, mil-dot, qr mounts. Overall a good package with a good warranty for a great price. Have one on my go-to 10-22.

If you live near Sacramento, I'm planning to take the 10-22 to the Sac Valley Range soon. PM me if you want to check it out while I'm there.

Want a lighter affordable scope? Check out Hawk, Nikon, Weaver, Bushnell. Myself, I'm phasing out Simmons. The 3-9x32 22mag (http://www.amazon.com/Simmons-TruPle.../dp/B00FDWOWK4) that was mounted on the go-to 10-22 (and replaced by the Bug Buster) ended up with a broken reticle. It will be repaired under warranty, but I've lost faith in them.

I also have the 'Bug Buster' on my 10/22 TD. Good scope and without removal the entire rifle (well, half of it) fits in the Ruger bag.

I mount scopes at work and have mounted many on 10/22 Takedowns. None would fit in the bag. I imagine there is a scope out there that will but I don't know it.
