Looking for recommendations for a pair of Les Baer's for target shooting in .223 and .308. Both have 24" barrels and not really concerned about the weight. Thinking of either Leupold 6.5-20x50 or Vortex PST 6-24x50, but open to suggestions. NF is getting a little pricey.
With respect to mounts, I've read good and bad about the Burris PEPR, so I'm not sure if there were quality control issues on the early quick connect or are they all questionable?
Not going into battle with these things (hopefully) and not going hunting, so the weight is not my major concern. Good, reliable scope is what I'm more concerned with from a reputable company with a no BS warranty.
