    Good Optics Vendor!!

Just ordered a couple of low-cost red dots from a place I hadn't even thought of before - B&H Photo & Video in New York City.

I knew these guys were great for cameras (video & still), A/V equipment, telescopes, binoculars, studio hardware & software, etc., but did not know they had branched off into riflescopes.

Anyway, just wanted to share with you guys. Their price for the two items I ordered was lower than anyone elses, there was no tax, AND free shipping. This made it a very easy decision to go with them!!

In fact, one item was not in stock and a special order, but they are sending the one item now, and the other when they get it in - both items still for free. Kinda hard to argue with this.

B&H has been in the optics game for a long time... They are a top notch vendor, I've been doing business with them for over a decade and never once had a problem.

I haven't bought optics from them but they were having a sale and I got a great price on a pelican case from B&H.

I bought a lot of my Nikon DSLR lenses from B&H. I highly recommend them.

+1, for an odd array of items.

Nothing odd about it. Your comment is actually kind of odd, and detracts from the thread topic. Look up 'odd' in the dictionary, you might learn something.

That should be good if that is what you wanted.
From the invoice you posted, it was a BSA and Tasco. They are entry level sights and meant more for 22s So be careful and verify your zeros as these made in China and can be quite weak.

Yes, I know I am cheaping out on these two items - but I do not expect much from them. I will likely bolt them onto my Buckmark and Marlin 795, see how they do, and then put them on the ARs to see how they fare. Depending on how they do, I'll use them, give them away, or put them in the safe as backups.

The point of my post was to highlight a great vendor that I don't see spoken of much here, together with their great prices, free shipping, decent selection, and killer customer service. So, don't get too hung up on what I bought.

I'm guessing his point is that B&H has an interesting array of items that have nothing to do with guns. For example, I am looking to get a microscope just for my own pleasure, to fill a desire for learning and as a hobby, and B&H has that stuff, too.

Ya, B&H covers a lot of different industries and they do it well... my first exposure to them was though photography then computers/IT.

They carry some insanely high end stuff too so its a great site to reference when doing research.

I don't enjoy thinking about how much money I've spent at B&H over the last decade, but other than that I've always been happy with their service and products.

I've bought a bu chief camera equipment and microphones from them. Unfortunately they don't sponsors this forum, shooting competitions or any shooters like Optics Planet does. So when it comes to spending money on firearms related stuff my money always goes to the companies that support the shooting community first.
