Counter Sniper Optics 1x30 Reflex Crusader Red Dot

Do any of you fine folks have any experience with this particular red dot sight (durability, clarity, holds zero, etc.). Any help you folks can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Have a nice day.

If you're seriously considering anything made by them, then you have to read their instructions.

    My favorite tidbits:
Borne of a decade of development for the sterile and untraceable optical rifle sighting requirements of Special Operations and clandestine warfare, CounterSniper™ Military Optical Gunsight Corp. manufactures a line of optical weapon sighting systems and visible and IR laser aiming systems from CQB to long range sniping and competition.
CounterSniper™ Military Optical Gunsight Corp. is headquartered in Rochester NY, the imaging capital
of the world. Long a primary Soviet nuclear impact target due to the creation of optical sighting systems
for satellites, spy planes and now digital imaging devices, it is home to some of the premier optical
    creation, coating and imaging companies.

Yeah, the Counter Sniper scopes (made in China, fwiw) get decent reviews from some people, but I'd never buy a scope from a company that spouts so much BS in their marketing info. There are way too many reputable vendors out there.

Do you have a link to it?

          HMMMM

People talk alot of shyt about Frank Millers endeavors and especially his advertising.... I thinks its funny... and makes some sense in a sarcastic way.... BUT.... the sarcasm and ridicule do no get the important questions answered as asked... I asked this very same question many moons ago and received the same response.... so I personally contacted Frank Miller and spoke to him regarding allot of the bs behind his product and marketing.... my call was spawned from a purchase I made for a Dark Ops fighting knife... I wondered why the metal was bending after prying a lock and he laughed at em .... he asked me if I would rather it break.... I said no... he then told me that is what most knives would have done..... he said this knife can be serviced in the field by hammering it back into place.... I did so and found the integrity the same as it was before it bent.... I was not happy with the sheath it came with so he put me in touch with RED HILL... who created the best sheath and lock system I will propably ever cross.... it is marvelous... similar to blade tech in advancement... I asked what happens if the blade dulls or anything gets fubar and he said send it to me and I will fix it or replace it.... free...... I can tell he is a man of his word and my next experience proved it.... I went on to buy a hellfighter x12 flashlight....I must say this is a superb flashlight...the beam was like the sun... far better than my surefire.... it has an all metal construction and breaks down into 4 sections.... it is entirely waterproof and boasted 150 lumens.... the beam actuall gets hot when left on the skin which was impressive.... I then dropped it a bunch of times here and there while being active and each time it hit concrete or asphalt.... still workked.... finally I dropped it really good on the cement and the button would not stay depressed w/o me holding it.... I callled frank up... they asked me what was broke... I told them the button assembly... they asked me for my address and sent me a brand new cap along with another warranty card.... I sent them nothing....

I may buy a crusader scope next..... my point is... dont knock it till you have personally experienced it.... thier marketing is kinda gay... but thier products service and warranty are iron clad.... buy the stuff... then talk the shyt... or ask Frank yourself... he will square you away....

          thanks for reading....

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my question. I can pick one of these up for $175.00 with mount. I think I'm going to just sit on the fence for a while, however. I really, really wish I could afford an EO Tech but that just isn't in the cards. I would like to consider the Bushnell Holosight, the one that looks like an EO Tech minus the protective cover but again, I haven't been able to find anywhere to purchase one at a price I can afford.

On a side note, I have been using Bushnell's Trophy Red/Green Dot sight for about 3 years now on my ARs and a Mini 14. So far it has worked very well, however, it eats up batteries pretty quick and I would prefer something more durable in the event I have to subject my weapon to some abuse. All of the work I have done with this sight is at the range in good conditions. Anyway, thank you all again.

            Have a nice evening.

You make some good points, but again, why would you buy from someone who fills their marketing with major and obvious BS, when there are many reputable, honest vendors with integrity to buy from?

Sorry, I'm not willing to take that chance on expensive gear just to prove or disprove a point.

I'm glad their warranty repair system has worked well for you, though. There's something to be said for that.

Indeed the advertising is a bit loud... so are other well known companies... but they stand by it... most of the complaints about thier products are not really about the products themselves or the service... but the advertisements and marketing.... they do not base thier warranty off of thier own deficiency or workmanship... if it breaks, it doesnt matter how it broke...its, "what part is it" or "we will send a new one".... screw what the aptions says.... does it work as advertised... so far I have a dark ops knife and it has lived up to its advertising... I also have a hellfire x-12 and it jas lived up to its advertising as well... I have dropped that f---er many times on the concrete.... beam is still brilliant and more focused than any I have ever seen... including my surefire....

I buy from other distributors to save $$$... does not affect the warranty or the service I get... if it is thier product...they fix it or replace it... no questions asked...

I started as a skeptic.... and ended up a loyal customer...
