Can Leupold change eye relief distance for a fee?

If I had (or ordered) a leupold scope, I know I can send it back and customize for CDS dials or different turret options for example, even on old scopes. Or even just convert friction adjustments to click adjustments, etc.

But can I send back for service and have eye relief adjusted? If I had a scope I liked but a very specific need for eye relief that the scope didn't cover?

Turrets are simply(well, it depends) a matter of swapping externally accessible components. The eye relief isn't going to be adjustable(it's going to be based off of things like the lenses and their positions within the scope). Get a different scope.

edit: For the sake of clarification, even getting a different reticle etched is possible with some manufacturers. But to have all of the glass in a scope re-engineered and then custom ground to make a one-off model just to keep an existing scope body... assuming scope manufacturers would even be willing to respond to that, prepare for at least a 5 figure price tag. Remember, you're asking them to make you a one-off product, not the same as simply swapping a couple of modular components around. You'd be better off selling whatever scope you happen to have already(if you already bought it), and then budgeting yourself a couple grand for a high end scope(not sure which leupold you're talking about, but if you're willing to drop $2-3k, there's a lot of options out there).

They changed the parallax on my fixed 4x in the '80s for free and sent it back postage paid if that helps. Ask them about your request.
