Cheap scope for m44?

I am looking for a cheap scope for my m44 and was wondering what people recommended. I had a Barska 6-20x ($50, Sportsman's Guide) on it but I had to mount so far forward because of the bolt that I couldn't get a picture through it. I need something with about 10 inches of eye relief, and at least 9x magnification. The cheaper the better. Please advise me as to companies that can accommodate these requirements. Searching google for cheap long eye relief scopes didn't work out to well for me.

There might be some engineering limitations at play here, but I couldn't find more than 7x or 8x magnification with a long eye relief scope. I used a 2-7x32 by NcStar on my M44 and it worked great. Cheap, too.
